Caden and Caleb played t-ball for the first time this year.
Caleb wanted to play. There really wasn't any need to discuss, he just wanted to play.
Caden on the other hand, well, he took some convincing to get to play, mostly with talk of ice cream after the games. While we certainly didn't want to force them into something they didn't want to do, I also didn't want Caden to be sitting on the sidelines wishing he could be playing. So we encouraged them both to give it a try.
We started practice, got our uniforms and off we went with our first season of baseball!
I sat there through every one of their games as they played in the dirt, hit balls, played in the dirt, ran bases, played in the dirt, stopped balls, and played in the dirt some more.
And of course they like the ice cream after the game!
With one season under our belts Caleb says he'll be playing again next year and Caden says no!
Caden was the one that would ask to go throw or hit at home, maybe he'll turn around! We shall see in time!
